On 23/04/2007 in between 0930 hrs and 1230 hrs at Vijaya Bank Kariyangala village Bantwal Taluk some unknown culprits committed theft of gold ornaments from the handbag belonging to one Usha D. Shetty (50) R/o Korakambala road Bajpe Mangalore Taluk. The stolen gold ornaments are worth Rs. 1,98,000/.

On 22/04/2007 at 0515 hrs on NH 17 at Chitrapu cross Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a unknown pedestrian due which he was seriously injured and died on the spot.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 21/04/2007 at 2030 hrs at Bikarnakatte Kaikamba Mangalore one Ashok driver of JCB bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2144 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-5145. As a result motorcycle rider one Sharath (18) R/o Padil Mangalore and Loy R/o Kulshekar Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 21/04/2007 at 1745 hrs at Bajpe Town Mangalore Taluk one Kiran Acharya rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-9230 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-9848 driven by Krishna Acharya (36) R/o Paduperea village Mangalore Taluk. As a result riders of both motorcycles and pillion riders of both motorcycles Prakash and Sundara Acharya sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 22/04/2007 at 1430 hrs at Ranipura Munnur village Mangalore Taluk one Zainuddin driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4472 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Taniyappa (60) R/o Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk, Vasanthi and Jayashree who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 22/04/2007 at 0400 hrs on NH 48 near Narahari Parvatha Bantwal Taluk one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-05-KD-8777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-3111. Further lorry driver lost control over his vehicle due which the lorry capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Madhava (24) R/o Gooremar Bantwal Taluk and Ravindra pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 22/04/2007 at 2100 hrs at Bappalige Puttur Town one driver of Maruti omni bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-1869 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-1950. As a result Raghu driver of auto rickshaw, Swaroop, Vedhavathi R/o Bappalige Puttur Taluk, and her daughter Divyashri who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 21/04/2007 at 1930 hrs at Machilampady Kowkrady village Puttur Taluk one John Jacob driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-13-M-1048 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-3746. As a result motorcycle rider John and Prasanna (22) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
