• A case under Rioting, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 05/04/2007 at 2045 hrs accused Mithun and four other persons forming into an unlawful assembly at Krishnanagara Thokkottu Ullala village Mangalore Taluk abused one Savarine D’Souza (55) w/o Leo D’Souza R/o Krishnanagara Thokkuttu Ullal village in filthy language and assaulted her, her husband and her son Gilbert D’ Souza by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 06/04/2007 at 1145 hrs on NH 48 at Paravarakotya Shirady village Puttur Taluk one Lokesh Poojary driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-13-9138 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-02-Z-6972 driven by one one Jayarama Poojary (42) R/o Kemmara village Udupi district due which Maruti car got damaged. Further lorry driver lost control over his vehicle and fell into a roadside ditch. No causalities reported.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 05/04/2007 at 2230 hrs on NH 48 at Palike Mani village Bantwal Taluk one Hajeel driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-12-1878 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9817 driven by one Abdul Jaleel. Further the driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9817 lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result Abdul Jaleel (28) R/o Koyla village Puttur Taluk driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9817, Riyaz and Vasantha Shetty who were traveling the said lorry sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 05/04/2007 at 1130 hrs at Poonjalakatte Kukkala village Belthangady Taluk one Pavan driver of KSRTC Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2025 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vimala a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

• A case under Criminal restraint along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 04/04/2007 at 1345 hrs at the premise of JMFC Court Kodialbail Mangalore one Venkatesh Rao (46) R/o Kulai Hosabettu village Mangalore criminally restrained one Narendra Shet (25) R/o Bolur Mangalore and gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 05/04/2007 in between 1700 hrs and 2100 hrs one Wilson Kuvello (12) R/o Kunta Padavu Permude village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 06/04/2007 1615 hrs Narayan Poojari R/o Derebailu village Mangalore Taluk was accidentally fell down from a Mango tree while removing Mango near his house and got serious injuries and died on the spot.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 06/04/2007 at 1245 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 30 yrs to 35 yrs found near Private bus stand at Belthangady Taluk. The death seems to be due some illness.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Man missing has been registered in Konaje Police Station. One Praveen Kumar (35) R/o Asaigoli Manjanadi village Mangalore Taluk left his house in his Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-12-M-655 on 05/03/2007 at 0600 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
