- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 06/04/2007 in between 0900 hrs and 1330 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-953 belonging to one Dr. Avinash M. R/o Nanthoor Junction Mangalore that was parked at Maidan Road near Lady Goshen hospital Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 32,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 24/04/2007 at 1545 hrs on NH 48 near Kannur Mosque Kannur village Mangalore one Umesha (28) R/o Navoor village Belthangady Taluk driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7983 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-2308. As a result scooter rider one Armugam (40) R/o Kotekar Mangalore Taluk sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station where in one Venkappa Poojary (60) was declared dead while under treatment on 24/04/2007 at 1200 hrs. The said Venkappa Poojary was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 18/04/2007 at 1715 hrs at Benke Subhashnagara Sajipa Muda village Bantwal Taluk and admitted to the Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 24/04/2007 at 1730 hrs at Mithamajalu Jalsoor village Sullia Taluk one Avinash rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-713 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Avinash rider of motorcycle and Kishore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further Avinash was admitted to hosptial at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 25/04/2007.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 25/04/2007 at 0710 hrs on NH 17 near Uchila Bridge Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk, one Nithin Kumar (21) R/o Thendukela Taluk Damoh district Madhya Pradesh State a passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KL-14-F-5969 was thrown out from the bus while getting down as the driver of the bus Mohammed Hussain moved the bus in a negligent manner. Nithin Kumar who sustained grievous injuries was admitted to the hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 0830 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 24/04/2007 at 0530 hrs at Mannagudde Ballalbagh Mangalore one Mahesh (31) driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-6635 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-2336. As a result Maruti omni car driver one Raviraj (31) R/o Puttur post Udupi district sustained simple injuries. The car also got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 23/04/2007 at 1430 hrs at Kailaru Kavala Mudur village Bantwal Taluk one Yogish (25) R/o Bantwal Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-7234 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ML-3344. As a result Yogish rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injures.

On 24/04/2007 at 2030 hrs at Goonadka Beejadakatte Sampaje village Sullia Taluk one Sanjeeva Shetty driver of Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-9553 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Tourist Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-12-5365. As a result one Sanjeeva Shetty driver of Maruti Omni car sustained simple injuries.

On 24/04/2007 at 1145 hrs at Kotebagilu Marpadi village Mangalore Taluk one Ganesh driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-35-1460 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-1242. As a result one Prashanth Roshan D’Souza pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
