• A case under Hurt has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 30/03/2007 at 2030 hrs accused Mohammed K., Farooque, Siddique and Mariyamma assaulted one Avamma (27) R/o Gandhinagara Kedila village Bantwal Taluk with wooden stick. They also assaulted one Ashraf with wooden stick who came to help Awamma. Motive family dispute.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 28/02/2007 at 1100 hrs on LHH road at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-5595 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Kareem S. A. (55) R/o Idga Mysore district a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Station. On 03/04/2007 at 0935 hrs at Tharethota Bikarnakatte Mangalore one Sathisha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-5711 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-375. As a result one Harish Kumar (37) R/o Permannur village Manglaore Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-375 sustained simple injuries and motorcycle also got damaged.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 04/04/2007 at 0740 hrs near Community Bazar at Panjimogru village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2014 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammed Inamul Ansari a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The Tipper lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case under Rioting, Hurt along with Attempt to Murder has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 30/03/2007 at 2030 hrs accused Rafique, Ashraf, Abdul Rahiman, Mohammed G. and Shekabba forming into an unlawful assembly at Gandhi Nagara Kedila village Bantwal Taluk attempted to murder one Mohammed K. (40) R/o Gandhinagara Kedila village Bantwal Taluk by assaulted him with wooden stick and sickle. They also assaulted his wife Mariyamma (35) with wooden stick who came to help Mohammed K. Motive family dispute.

• A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 04/04/2007 at 2200 hrs accused Srikantha Shetty, Lathif, Shareef T.K. and other 12 persons came in a Tata Scorpio vehicle and forming into an unlawful assembly near Somayaji building at Bantwal Town and criminally restrained one Shabeer (32) R/o Kelaginapete Bantwal Taluk and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 03/04/2007 at 2230 hrs in the premise of Bolara Tiles Factory at Mangalore accused Yaseen and others abused one Raju Pradhan (23) R/o Kurdha district Orissa state in filthy language and aslo assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.
  
• A case under Criminal trespass, Hurt, Criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 04/04/2007 at 1900 hrs accused Jagadish, Rajesh and Vasantha criminally trespassed into the house of a Forest Guard one Ananda Balegara (19) R/o Forest guard Quarters Koyanagara Indabettu village Belthangady Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be Ananda Balegara had objected for cutting of firewoods from the forest area by the accused persons.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 03/04/2007 at 1930 hrs and 04/04/2007 at 0700 hrs one Rajesh (19) R/o Bagambila Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond near his house and died due drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 05/04/2007 in between 0750 hrs and 0815 hrs one Naveen (38) R/o Koramoole house Paduvannoor village Puttur Taluk and his wife Jayalakshmi (30) accidentally slipped into the pond while working near their house and died due drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 04/04/2007 at 1830 hrs one Geetha (30) R/o Bolpade Kolnadu village sustained serious burn injuries while trying to light stove in her house. She was admitted to Govt. hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 05/04/2007 at 0815 hrs.
