In between 16/02/2007 at 1700 hrs and 17/02/2007 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of two new Vikrant Tyres belonging to one Savaranan P. (34) R/o Idiya village Mangalore Taluk that were kept near his house. The stolen property is worth Rs. 20,350/.
- A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. In between 17/04/2007 and 18/04/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of 400 meters telephone cable belonging BSNL that was fixed to the telephone poles at Mandekochi Nidapalli village Puttur Taluk. The stolen property is worth Rs. 8,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 20/04/2007 at 1045 hrs at Nanthur Mangalore one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-888 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2525. As a result scooter rider one Lakshmi (28) R/o Vamanjoor village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 20/04/2007 at 0715 hrs on NH 17 at Mukka junction Surathkal village Mangalore Taluk one Ganesh @ Ganesh Gowda driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6496 drove his vehicle in a negligent manner and applied break suddenly with out giving signal due which the motorcycle bearing Reg. No KA-19-R-5373 which was behind the bus rammed to it from the back. As a result motorcycle rider Vikas K. S. R/o Chairalu village Mangalore Taluk and Kanakadas (32) R/o Kulur Mangalore pillion rider said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 20/04/2007 at 0530 hrs on NH 48 in front of Devi Krapa earth movers factory Nellyadi village Puttur Taluk one Yusuf K. driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-0088 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Electric pole. As a result one Khaleed a foreign student who was traveling in the said bus sustained grievous injuries.

On 20/04/2007 at 1200 hrs on NH 48 at Paravarakotya Shiradi village Puttur Taluk one Shanthosh driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-53-M-5886 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-1095. As a result Ravichandra driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-1095, Prabhakara Bhandary, Ramanna, Sushila, Nethravathi and Mahalinga Bhandary (63) R/o Sarve village Puttur Taluk who were traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
- A case on Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 20/04/2007 at 0800 hrs at Bedra Amtady village Bantwal Taluk one Krishnappa driver of Ford Icon car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MF-3335 moved his vehicle in backward direction and dashed against one Kishore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further the car driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-3874 that was parked there due which scooter got damaged.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 20/04/2007 at 1000 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 40 yrs to 45 yrs was found in Netravathi river at Baithar Harekala village Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 20/04/2007 at 0700 hrs one Krishnan aged about 50 yrs to 55 yrs who was working at Baraka Factory Ullal Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near Baraka factory owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 20/04/2007 at 0100 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 35 yrs was found at Angara Gudde Sheemanthur village Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to consuming some poison.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 19/04/2007 at 2300 hrs and 20/04/2007 at 0400 hrs one Ismail M. (55) R/o Ammunje village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the well near Beeradangady Mosque owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 23/04/2007 at 1345 hrs one Devadas driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-13-B-1616 developed chest pain at Pudya Konaje village Puttur Taluk. Further he died on the way to hospital. Cause of death is still to be ascertained.
