  • A case under Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 11/04/2007 at 1215 hrs at the premise of ACJ (Jr.Dn.) and JMFC Court at Sullia Taluk accused one Usman R/o Sampaje village Sullia Taluk gave life threat to one Champa V. Gowda (38) w/o Venkappa Gowda R/o Gandinagara Sullia Taluk owing to personal enmity.

  • A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station where in one Alfas (20) R/o Belapu Javanare Katte Udupi Taluk was declared dead while under treatment on 11/04/2007 at 1230 hrs. The said Alfas was seriously injured by a Tipper Lorry in a road traffic accident on 10/04/2007 at 0830 hrs at Gurupura Mulur village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Bajpe Police Station.
  • A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 11/04/2007 at 1715 hrs at Lingappayyakadu Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Shafi driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5479 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nagaraja (06) R/o Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 10/04/2007 at 1315 hrs near KSRCT junction at Bejai Mangalore one Ramesha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-2450 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jecintha Lobo (13) R/o Somwarapete Kodagu district a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 10/04/2007 at 0830 hrs at Ishwara Katte Muduperara village Mangalore Taluk one Krishnakantha driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3897 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Raju Bangera (48) R/o Moodushede Vamanjoor village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 03/04/2007 at 1430 hrs at Guddeangadi Puttige village Mangalore Taluk one Yogisha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-13-J-1293 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vinaya (20) R/o Puttige village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 12/04/2007 at 0830 hrs at Padibagilu Kepu village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. KA-22-A-8139 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Dinesh (28) R/o Kallurtiyadka Vittal Town a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 11/04/2007 at 0950 hrs one Harisha Shetty (46) R/o Urwastores Mangalore developed chest Pain while traveling in the bus near Navabharath circle Mangalore. Further he was admitted to the hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 11/04/2007 at 2000 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 50 yrs was found in Arabian sea near Baraka Factory at Ullal Mangalore Taluk. It seems to be a case of drowning. Identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
