- A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 29/09/2007 at 2230 hrs and 30/09/2007 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Ganesh General stores at Kallige Bantwal Taluk belonging to one Ganesh by breaking the door lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 20,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 30/09/2007 at 0030 hrs in front of T.M.A. Pai Hall at Kodialbail Mangalore one unknown driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-46-M-7777 drove his vehicle rash and negligent manner and dashed against an unknown pedestrian. As a result the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The Maruti car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 30/09/2007 at 0700 hrs on NH 48 at Ponnudi Bantwal Town one Yogisha driver of Tempo Trax bearing Reg. No. KA-21-AA-7747 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Tempo Trax fell into a ditch. As a result Yogish driver of tempo and Kusuma who was traveling in the in the said Tempo Trax sustained grievous injuries. Further Krishna (35) R/o Kepu village Bantwal Taluk, Yogisha Shenoy, and Balakrishna who were traveling in the said Tempo Trax sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Rioting along with Hurt has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 29/09/2007 at 1730 hrs accused Hidhaithulla, Habeeb, Rafique, Hameed and Yusuf forming into an unlawful assembly near Mosque at Thingalady Kedambady village Putur Taluk and assaulted one Hamzath (28) R/o Thingalady Kedambady village Puttur Taluk by hand and with wooden stick. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Hamzath and accused persons.
- A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 30/09/2007 at 0200 hrs accused 4-6 unknown persons came in a Quails car bearing Reg. No. KA-02-MA-6364 and forming into an unlawful assembly at 1st cross Charmady Belthangady Taluk and stopped the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8598 and abused the driver of said bus Sunil Prabhu (39) and Hasain Sabu who was in the bus in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave threat to them. The motive seems to be dispute on overtaking of the bus.

On 29/09/2007 at 1845 hrs accused Prakasha and another one criminally restrained one Rudrappa (38) R/o Nada village Belthangady Taluk near Kudupalla Nada village Belthangady Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to civil dispute between Rudrappa and accused Prakasha.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 30/09/2007 in between 0300 hrs at 0400 hrs one Shankara Poojary R/o Kundapura Taluk was found dead in a room at Hotel Poonja International Mangalore. The death seems to be due to some illness.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Man missing has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 28/09/2007 in between 1315 hrs and 1330 hrs one Chandrashekar (36) R/o Kalayi Putthila village Belthangady Taluk was found missing while traveling in a KSRTC bus from B.C. Road to Jakribettu and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
