On the intervening night of 23-24/10/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into Mosque at Mooda village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of cash Rs 5000/ and two wrist watch all in worth Rs. 5,600/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Vittal Police Station. In between 19/10/2007 to 24/10/2007 at 1400 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the godown belonging to Gramina Co operative Society at Vittala Town Bantwal Taluk by breaking the window grills and committed theft of 220 kgs of arecanut. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 16, 000/.

- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 22/10/2007 at 1800 hrs to 1900 hrs accused Musthak driver of tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6976 and another one person committed theft of Iron sheets (15 Nos ) from the constructing house belonging to one Shijeo (43) R/o Kunjathabail Mangalore. The total worth of stolen property is worth Rs. 12,000/.

On 24/10/2007 at 2115 hrs one Alfonsa D/o Selina Thomas R/o Karinje village Mangalore Taluk while waiting for a bus near bus stand at Moodabidre the accused one Joyson Thakode came near Bus stand and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her.

On 22/10/2007 at 1900 hrs near Goodinabali at Mooda village Bantwal Taluk one Chandrahasa rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. CTX-2782 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nagesh R/o Mooda village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and admitted to Fr Mullers hospital Mangalore. Where in he succumbed to his injuries on 23/10/2007 at 2345 hrs while undergoing treatment.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 24/10/2007 at 1730 hrs in front of Jyothi Theater at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-5477 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ME-2840 driven by one Dr. Bala Saraswathi Kakkilaya R/o Light House Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported. The driver of bus escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 22/10/2007 at 1830 hrs Pambatthamajalu Kodipady village Puttur Taluk one Ashraf driver of Maruthi car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-7875 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Adram (63) R/o Puttur Town a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Staion. On 24/10/2007 a 1430 hrs at Anchikatte Kadubettu village Bantwal Taluk one Rakesh D souza rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-3027 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-H-9731. As a result John Raphail Fatrado (36) R/o Kadabettu village Bantwal Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-H-9731 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 25/10/2007 at 0600 hrs on NH-48 near Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk one Sunil driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-9377 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which bus capsized. As a result Sunil driver of said bus sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 23/10/2007 at 2300 hrs one Ambrose (45) R/o Bappalige Putttur Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Puttur where he declared dead while under treatment.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 24/10/2007 at 1415 hrs one Chidananda Gowda (30) R/o Koyla village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Puttur where he declared dead while under treatment on 1500 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 24/10/2007 at 0800 hrs one Kotiappa Poojary (52) R/o Belalu village Belthangady Taluk accidentally fell down from palm tree while removing tody and got serious injuries. He was admitted to Govt hospital Belthangady where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 24/10/2007 at 1130 hrs one unknown male person aged about 50 yrs accidentally fell down and dead in Bus stand at Belalu village Belthangady Taluk. The death seems to be due some illness.
