- A case of Burglary has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On the intervening night of 28-29/10/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Shri Mallikarjuna Temple at Thodikana village Sullia Taluk by removing roof tiles and committed theft of gold ornaments and Pooja articles all in worth Rs. 1,50,000/.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 28/10/2007 at 1830 accused Purandara, Bhavani, Lakshmana and Rekha criminally restrained one Baby (35) W/o Mohan Kumar G. R/o Yekkuru Jappinamogaru Mangalore near her house and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Baby and accused persons.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 04/09/2007 at 1915 hrs in front of Empire Mahal at M.G. road Mangalore one Sandeep Shetty driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6622 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Santhosh Shetty (24) R/o Chembugudde Permannur village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 28/10/2007 at 1600 hrs near Mogarnadu School at Narikombu village Bantwal Taluk one Udaya rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-5678 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Baby (51) W/o Sanjeeva P. R/o Narikombu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due motorcycle capsized. As a result Sagar pillion rider of said motorcycle also sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 28/10/2007 at 1815 hrs one Sharif rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-4707 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-7664. As a result Ashraf (35) R/o Perla Sarapady village Bantwal Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-7664, Haydar pillion rider of said motorcycle and Sharif rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-4707 sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the intervening night of 28-29/10/2007 one Krishnappa Gowda (26) R/o Kavalakatte Kavala Moodur village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 29/10/2007 at 1700 hrs one Rakesh (15) R/o Mitthuru Ubbaradka Sullia Taluk accidentally slipped into pond while walking near his house and died of drowning.
