- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 14/10/2007 at 1700 hrs on NH 17 at K.C. road Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk one Chidananda driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KL-14-D-3999 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2015. As a result one Ismail K.P (50) R/o Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk driver of said car sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Rioting, Wrongful restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Causing miscarriage along with Mischief causing damage has been registered in Ullal Station. On 14/10/2007 in between 1700 hrs and 1715 on NH 17 at K.C road Junction Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk some 15-20 unknown persons forming into an unlawful assembly with deadly weapons stopped the private buses bearing Reg. No. KL-14-D-3999, KL-14-D-9279 and KL-14-G-5303 and abused drivers and conductors of said buses and assaulted them by hand and aslo damaged the buses by pelting stone. The Motive seems to be that the driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KL-14-D-3999 dashed his vehicle to a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2015.
