On the night of 21/10/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Anganavadi School at Nattibailu Uppinangady village Puttur Taluk by removing the roof tiles and committed theft of Rice (40 kgs). The total value of stolen property is worth Rs. 240/.
- A case of Burglary has registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 16/10/2007 at 1900 hrs and 21/10/2007 at 2000 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house of one Chandrashekara (29) R/o Jalsuru village Sullia Taluk by removing the roof tiles and committed theft of gold, silver ornaments and cash Rs 3,500/ all in worth Rs. 63,500/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 22/10/2007 at 0750 hrs on NH 48 near Radha Nursing Home Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk one Ashoka driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-6444 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-5102. As a result Abdul Rasheed (19) motorcycle rider and Althaf (17) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries and admitted to the Omega hospital at Mangalore. Where in Abdul Rasheed succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on same day at 0930 hrs.

No. KA-21-3466 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against M-80 motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-998. As a result one Thimmakka (32) R/o Hirebandady village Puttur Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 22/10/2007 at 1915 hrs at Chelliadka Irde village Puttur Taluk on credible information ASP Puttur, PSI Puttur Rural PS along with staff intercepted a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CRX-459 and seized 750 gm Ganja and a mobile phone by arresting Saleem Ahamad (19) R/o Shanthi nagar Mysore and Umesh Achary (24) R/o Putur Town. The motorcycle is also seized. The total worth of seized property is 18,540/.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 22/10/2007 at 1700 hrs on credible information ASI Puttur Rural PS along with staff conducted a raid on hotel at Keyyur village Puttur Taluk and seized 20 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 600/ by arresting one Ravi Poojary (37) R/o Ariyadka village Puttur Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 22/10/2007 at 1915 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 50 yrs found dead room at Swasthi Compound Mangalore. The death seems to be due some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 22/10/2007 in between 1100 hrs and 1400 hrs one Raghava (20) R/o Aletti village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On the night of 21/10/2007 one Neelamma (60) R/o Balugodu village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging near her house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. One Harish Rai R/o Adyar Mangalore who went to work on 01/09/2007 at 0800 hrs did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
