- A case of Burglary has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 01/10/2007 and 03/10/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the KSRTC office room at KSRTC Bus stand Bejai Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of 02 Transformers belonging to KSRTC Dept. The stolen property is worth Rs. 20, 000/.

- A case under Seizure of Stolen property along with M.V. Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 03/10/2007 at 1100 hrs on credible information PSI (Crime) Mangalore South PS along with staff apprehended one Anwar Husain (21) R/o Shanthinagara Deralakatte Mangalore who was found moving suspiciously in a motorcycle at Jeppu Mangalore. On enquiry it was learnt that the motorcycle has been stolen somewhere else. Accordingly a case was registered in Mangalore South PS and the motorcycle was seized. The seized motorcycle is worth Rs. 10,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 03/10/2007 at 1745 hrs at Kuntikana Mangalore one Vijaya driver of rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KL-14-D-4328 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and without giving any signal he turned the auto rickshaw and dashed against the motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2073. As a result motorcycle rider one Ramachandran S. (27) R/o Konchady Derebail Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 02/10/2007 at 0625 hrs at Suralpady Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Lancy Crasta (32) driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5336 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-9607. As a result one Mohammed Rafique (32) R/o Subhasnagara Marpady village Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 03/10/2007 at 1300 hrs at Anegundi Kanakamajalu village Sullia Taluk one Prashantha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-1761 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Divakara K. (37) R/o Sullia Town pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 30/09/2007 at 0800 hrs accused Jaya Shetty, Vasanthi and Pavithra criminally restrained one Martin Rodrigues (70) R/o Paduperara village Mangalore Taluk at Paldody Paduperara Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 03/10/2007 at 1945 hrs at Adu Amlamogaru village Mangalore Taluk accused Sameer and Musthaf abused one Umanatha (30) R/o Amalamogaru village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with iron road and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 03/10/2007 at 1700 hrs accused Prashanth K.N. (26) criminally restrained one Vidyananda (28) R/o Sullia Town near Gandhinagara Sullia Town and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with knife and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be that Vidyananda had earlier lodged a complaint against Umesh, Deepak and Mahesh.

Unnatural Death Report: 03
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 02/10/2007 at 1700 hrs and 03/10/2007 at 1430 hrs one Ananda Poojary (40) R/o Punjala Sulerimogaru village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the pond at Nekkarekaje owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 03/10/2007 at 1230 hrs Shankara (26) R/o Amaramudnoor village Sullia Taluk was suffering from fever and was admitted at Govt. hopital at Sullia. As his condition deteriorated, he was being shifted for further treatment to Mangalore. He however breathed his last enroute.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 07/09/2007 at 1600 hrs one Honnamma (65) R/o Pudduttu Bantwal Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while she was trying to light a kerosene lamp in her house. Further she was admitted to the hosptial at Mangalore and there while under treatment she succumbed to her injuries on 30/09/2007 at 0850 hrs.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. One Shyamala (20) R/o Kabaka village Puttur Taluk who left her house on 30/09/2007 at 1800 hrs and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
- A case of Man missing has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. One Balakrishana (35) R/o Balagodu Sullia Taluk who was left his house on 22/09/2007 at 1200 hrs and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
