- A case of Burglary has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 12/010/2007 in between 0930 hrs and 1330 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Yogish Acharya (40) R/o Swamila Padav Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 3,000/ all in worth Rs. 98,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 12/10/2007 at 1800 hrs one Abdul Arshad rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5765 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and dashed to the road divider near Empire Mall M. G. road Mangalore. As a result Abdul Arshad motorcycle rider and Abdul Jaleel pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries and admitted to the hospital. Further Abdul Jaleel succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on same day.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 12/10/2007 at 1555 hrs at Lalbagh Mangalore one Shridhara driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KL-15-4644 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1215. As a result one Pushparaj R/o Baikampady Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries and admitted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 2210 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 12/10/2007 at 1115 hrs at Pallottu Netla Mudnur village Bantwal Taluk one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-09-F-3681 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which bus capsized. As a result Lalitha (43) R/o Virajpete Madikeri District and 07 other passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 12/10/2007 at 0945 hrs at Melinapete Guttigaru village Sullia Taluk one Shubhavathi rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-7572 drove her vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Hoovamma R/o Balugodu village Sullia Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 11/10/2007 at 2230 hrs at Babugudde Mangalore accused Derick D’Souza and Vijaya Alfred criminally restrained one Prem Santhosh (22) R/o St. Joseph Nagar Mangalore and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 12/10/2007 at 2030 hrs at Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore Taluk accused Avinash D’Souza, Francis D’Souza and Abdul Rahiman @ Adrama all residents of Mudipu village Mangalore Taluk came in a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-3861 and abused one Padmanabha (33) R/o Ullal Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to financial dispute.

- A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act along with Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 12/10/2007 at 2015 hrs on credible information PI Mangalore South PS along with his staff conducted raid on Karuna Lodge at Mangalore and arrested Jayarama and Iqbal who were soliciting for prostitution there and seized 02 boxes of liquor bottles. However Jagadish and 03 women managed to escaped from the scene.
- A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 12/10/2007 at 2300 hrs PSI Mulki PS on rounds arrested Kajooli (25), Sapna Mundel (20), Prince George (23) and Sathish (23) who were soliciting for prostitution at public place at Mulki Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 12/10/2007 at 1830 hrs on credible information PSI Subramanya PS along with staff conducted a raid on public place at Harihara junction Suliia Taluk and seized 25 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) and cash Rs. 70/ by arresting one Ashokan (40) R/o Kalmakaru village Sullia Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On the night of 11/10/2007 one Sarojini (30) R/o Sulaje Darkhasu Golithottu village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the pond near her house owing to health problem.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Man missing has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. One Nemanna Gowda (55) R/o Polya Kabaka village Puttur Taluk who left his house on 06/10/2007 at 0700 hrs and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
