In between 02/10/2007 and 05/10/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Shakeena R/o Gandhinagara Charmady village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of a Camera and a ladies wrist watch all in worth Rs. 4,000/.

- A case under Attempt to theft has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. In between 07/10/2007 at 2230 hrs and 08/10/2007 at 0230 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Abdulla K. (48) R/o Annadka Kunthur village Puttur Taluk and attempted to commit theft.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 07/10/2007 at 0900 hrs at Natekal Tatla Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk one Abubakkar Sidique driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9029 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Shamshad (26) W/o Mohammed B. R/o Deralakatte Mangalore, Noha Munavar (01) and Apsa (33) who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 07/10/2007 at 1950 hrs at Santhakatte Belthangady Taluk one Ganesh Prabhu rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-3691 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-8013. As a result Bhaskara (22) R/o Kuvettu village Belthagady Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-8013, Jayaprakash pillion rider of said motorcycle and Ganesh Prabhu rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-3691 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 08/10/2007 at 1230 hrs at Periyadka Uppinangady Puttur Taluk one Padmayya Gowda driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-4454 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1852. As a result two passengers who were traveling in the KSRTC bus sustained simple injuries and both vehicles got damaged.

- A case under Rioting, House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 07/10/2007 at 1900 hrs accused Abdul Razak, Nawaz, Sharif, Bashir, Adam and Harshad forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Abdul Salam (43) R/o Bambila Modupadukodi village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him and Abdul Hameed by hand with wooden stick and gave life threat to them. They also damaged the car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-2289 belonging to Abdul Salam by breaking the window glass. The motive seems to be dispute between committee members of Bambila Mosque.

- A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Mischief of causing damage has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 07/10/2007 at 1900 hrs accused Yakubu, Abdul Rahiman, Abdul Salam and Iqbal G.S. criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Abdul Majid (50) R/o Bambila Modupadukodi village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and him by hand with wooden stick. They also assaulted his wife Johara with stone who came to help Abdul Majid and damaged their house by breaking the window glass. The damage caused is about Rs. 2,000/. The motive seems to be personal enmity between committee members of Bambila Mosque.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 08/10/2007 at 0630 hrs one dead body of Haridasa R/o Chirekallu Madappady village Sullia Taluk was found near his house. It seems to be a case of suicide by hanging.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Savitha Monthero (23) W/o Vincent R/o Kombarabailu Mudanadugodu village Bantwal Taluk who went to Bantwal Town on 03/10/2007 at 1630 hrs and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
