- A case of Robbery has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 09/10/2007 at 1130 hrs accused two unknown persons criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Gulabi (80) R/o Kambala cross Alake Mangalore and robbed gold ornaments from one Gualbi. After this they escaped in a motorcycle. The total value of property taken away is estimated to be Rs. 1,52,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 09/10/2007 at 1115 hrs near Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7416 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw. As a result Kiran driver of auto rickshaw and Sunil (25) R/o Chembugudde Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 09/10/2007 at 1050 hrs on Belthangady-Guruvanakere road at Belthangady Town one Praveen rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-4170 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sunaina Bhanu (04) D/o Adam Saheb R/o. Nada village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 08/10/2007 at 2000 hrs on NH 17 at Karnad Bypass Mulki Mangalore one Sunil Mode driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. MH-11-M-6131 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed aganist a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-60-6992. As a result motorcycle rider Bashir (35) R/o Addoor village Kerala State sustained grievous injuries and pillion rider of said motorcycle Mohammed Rafique sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Attempt to murder along with sec. 27 Arms Act been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 09/10/2007 at 1830 hrs accused Ganesh Shenoy abused one Rama Naik (37) R/o Nekkilady village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and fired at him with a SBBL gun and tried to kill him owing financial dispute.

No. KA-20-H-1793 and stopped one Shivanatha (31) R/o Someshwara Uchilla Mangalore Taluk at Dakke Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 09/10/2007 at 1830 hrs at Anchinadka Madnuru village Puttur Taluk accused Shiva @ Bhojaraja and Govindaswami assaulted one Ravichandran (36) R/o Amaramudnur village Sullia Taluk by hand and with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 07/10/2007 and 08/10/2007 one unknown male dead body aged about 35 yrs to 45 yrs was found in a building at Bejai Mangalore. The death seems to be due to some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 09/10/2007 at 1200 hrs one unidentified male dead body aged about 30 yrs to 35 yrs been found in highly decomposed stage at Shediguri Maravuru village Mangalore Taluk. It seems to be a case of suicide.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Naveena (18) R/o N.G. Road Attavara Mangalore who left his house on 28/09/2007 at 0900 hrs and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. One Vijeth (18) R/o Moodushedde village Mangalore who left his house on 30/09/2007 at 1945 hrs and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
