On 17/10/2007 at 1915 hrs on credible information ASI Bantwal Town PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Chendukula Alike village Bantwal Taluk and seized 07 cocks, 02 motorcycles and cash Rs. 400/ by arresting Balakrishna K.Patali (30), Fakeera Nalke (40), Sanjeeva Mugera (33), Babu (50) and Vishwanatha (28) who were indulging in betting on cock fighting.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Vittal PS U/S 87 and 93 of the Karnataka Police Act.
