- A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 28/09/2007 and 30/09/2007 at 1330 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Emiliya Ciciliya D'Souza R/o Ullala Hoyige Jappinamogeru Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments, Copper Vessel and cash all in worth Rs. 5,000/.

- A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 01/10/2007 at 1215 hrs on NH 17 at Jokkatte cross Baikampady Mangalore one Albert Gladson driver of LPG Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6277 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohiddeen A. P. (37) R/o Krishnapura Katipalla Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. He was admitted to A. J. hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on same day at 1500 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 30/09/2007 at 0915 hrs at Ammembala cross Boliyar village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3534 drove his vehicle in a negligent manner due which one Nagaraj (18) R/o Boliyar village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 01/10/2007 at 1430 hrs in front of Niddodi Church at Kallamundkur village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-30-7433 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-5392. As a result motorcycle rider one Harish sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 21/09/2007 at 2115 hrs at Porkodi Bajpe Mangalore Taluk one Yashavantha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-3936 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Yashawantha and Santhosh Kumar (40) R/o Maroli Kankadandy Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 29/09/2007 at 2130 hrs at Manelpadavu Tenkulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Pius Hilary Pereira driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8873 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Mohammed Hassan (35) R/o Ganjimutta Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 30/09/2007 at 2100 hrs at Madaka Ariyadka village Puttur Taluk one Ishwara Naik rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-6458 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Ishwar Naik sustained grievous injuries.

On 30/09/2007 at 2100 hrs accused Sathish Poojary, Subba Harijana, Praveen Kumar Jain, Sathish Shetty, Rathnakara Poojary, Subhash Jain, Sudhakara Poojary and Nagesh Poojary forming into an unlawful assembly at Kaje Kalladka Shirthadi village Mangalore Taluk and stopped a motorcycle driven by one Rajendra Poojary (39) R/o Vidyanagar Shirthadi village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him with iron rod and tried to kill him owing to previous enmity.

On 29/09/2007 at 1730 hrs accused Hidayath, Zakeer, Shareeque, Shameer, Rasheed, Muneer, Asphak, Khaleel, Naushad, Siraj and Imran forming into an unlawful assembly near M. H. Complex at Kasayi Galli Mangalore and abused Saleem R/o Kasayi Galli Mangalore and Asif in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

On 30/09/2007 at 2030 hrs accused Latheef @ Abdul Latheef (22), Ashraf @ Mohammed Ashraf (25), Farooque (21) and Abdul Ravoof stopped a car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-4145 at Golithadi Ramakunja village Puttur Taluk and abused driver of car Abdul Nasir K. (39) R/o Goliithottu village Puttur Taluk in filthy langauage and assaulted his relative Kamal who was travelling in the said car with Torch light and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 30/10/2007 at 1700 hrs accused Devasya and Prince stopped a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-5326 at Bedrala Chibidre village Belthangady Taluk and abused one Nagesha (32) R/o Neriya village Belthangady Taluk rider of said motorcycle in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and gave life threat to him owing to tirvial issue. They also damaged the motorcycle. The damage is caused about Rs. 500/.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 01/10/2007 at 2100 hrs on credible information PI Puttur Town PS along with staff conducted on public place at Beernahithlu Chickamudnur village Puttur Taluk and seized 59 liquor bottles (each 180 ml) of worth Rs. 1,770/ by arresting Thamma @ Ganesh Gowda and Dasa Devadiga who were selling these arrack bottles illegally there.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 01/10/2007 at 2130 hrs on credible information PSI Sullia PS along with staff intercepted a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-8123 at Jogimoole Markanja village Sullia Taluk and seized 27 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 750/ being transported illegally by arresting one Gopalakrishna R/o Markanja village Sullia Taluk. The motorcycle has also been seized. The total value of property seized is worth Rs. 45,750/.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 01/10/2007 at 0700 hrs one Sundaram Lingam (43) R/o CR Colony Madnur village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Rural Police Station. On 01/10/2007 at 1130 hrs one Rohithaksha (35) R/o Biliyoor village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the well near his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 02/10/2007 at 1030 hrs one Muralidhara R/o Derla Keyyur village Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped into pond while working near his house and died by drowning.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Vittal Police Station. One Baby @ Sunitha (18) R/o Vittal Bantwal Taluk who left her house on 27/09/2007 at 1330 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
