  • A case of Attempt to murder along with sec.25, 27 Arms Act been registered in Sulia Police Station. On 23/10/2007 at 0715 hrs accused Vinod Kumar R/o Deraje Aranthodu village Sullia Taluk abused one Prithvi (17) R/o Aranthodu village Sulia Taluk fired at her with a Country made gun and tried to kill her owing to personal dispute.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore North Police Station. On 23/10/2007 at 0030 hrs in front of Hotel Rajkamal at Falnir road Mangalore one Keerthan rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-4824 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammed Farooq (36) R/o Kashipatna Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 23/10/2007 at 1930 hrs near Ballalbhag Mangalore one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-4505 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-5573. As a result scooter rider Umesh Poojary (28) R/o Bejai Mangalore and pillion rider Rajesh sustained simple injuries. The driver of bus escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 22/10/2007 at 2345 hrs near Madoor water tank at Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk one Sunil rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-4215 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Sunil and Gururaj Dikshith pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mulki Police Station. On 22/10/2007 at 1645 hrs at Damaskatte Aikala village Mangalore Taluk one Vasu Poojary driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2546 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Shamala Kudva (13) R/o Palimar village Udupi District a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

  • A case under Rioting, House trespass, Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with criminal intimidation has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 22/10/2007 accused Adram, Ummer Kunhi, Thameema @ Lathif, Nebisa and Jainabi forming into an unlawful assembly with deadly weapons and criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Aboobakkar (40) R/o Noojibail Kolnadu village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and also assaulted him with iron rod. They also assaulted Ummer with wooden stick who came to help Aboobakkar and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute.

  • A case under section 63, 68A of Copyright Act has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 23/10/2007 at 0900 hrs PSI Bantwal Rural along with staff on credible information conducted a raid on Surya Watch Works and Electronic shop at Siddakatte Sangabettu village Bantwal Taluk and seized duplicate VCD of Super cassette industry Ltd which were being circulated illegally. Further one Bhoja Moolya (36) has been arrested.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sulia Police Station. On 23/10/2007 at 0715 hrs one Vinod Kumar Deraje committed suicide firing on himself using a Country made gun near his house owing to personal problem.
