In between 29/09/2007 and 02/10/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of a pump belonging to one Ajith Kumar Rai (44) that was kept in his farm at Kaidumaru Muchur village Mangalore Taluk. - A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Konaje Police Station. On 03/10/2007 at 1830 hrs near bus stand at Konaje Mangalore when Bhaman (20) a passenger of the bus beairng Reg. No. KA-19-B-5814 was getting down from the bus, the driver Sathish moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he was thrown out and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 03/10/2007 at 1530 hrs at Nadila Kodi Ilanthila village Belthangady Taluk one Shivanna driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8316 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-226. As a result one Mahesh Kumar (27) R/o Kaniyoor village Puttur Taluk driver of said car sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Counterfeiting currency has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station on the complaint of Susheel Raj, Manager ICICI Bank P.M. Rao Road Mangalore where in it is alleged that in between 12/06/2007 and 26/09/2007 some unknown customers came to the ICICI Bank P.M. Rao. Road Mangalore and deposited cash. On checking, bank officials found 67 Nos. of counterfeit currency of face value Rs. 1000/, 500/, and 100/ in the bundle.
