On 28/10/2007 at 0630 hrs Shivaprakash PSI Ullal PS along with staff conducted raid at Thokkuttu Ullal village Mangalore Tlauk. At the time of raid Police found 23 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. Police seized cash Rs. 13,120/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Ganesh, Ulugappa, Lingappa, Ravi, Nagaraj, Basavaraj, Suresh, Hanumanthappa, Shridhara, Pakeera, Siddappa, Ravi, Rajesh, Basappa, Suresha, Veresha, Raja, Basavaraj, Mailari, Raja, Mallesha and Basavaraj who were indulging in gambling.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Ullal PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act.
