- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 11/11/2006 at 1430 hrs at Jyothi Circle Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7505 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-346. As a result Scooter rider one Shrinivasa Karanth (48) R/o Ajith Nagar Ujire Belthangady Taluk sustained simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 10/11/2006 at 0730 hrs at Nadupadavu Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Hateem (34) R/o Derala katte Mangalore Taluk driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-4215 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent a manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which the car capsized. As a result Hakeem driver of said car sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-34-6279 while taking reversing drove negligently and dashed to a KSRTC Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-09-F-3241 which was behind the Lorry. As a result the KSRTC Bus got damaged. No casualties reported.

On 11/11/2006 at 1930 hrs near Marigudi Belthangady one unknown rider of motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Lakshmi (03) D/o Renukamma R/o Santekatte Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries. The motor cycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 11/11/2006 at 1330 hrs at the house of one Lingappa Gowda (70) at Ajjikallu Devachalla village Sullia Taluk one Thyamanna Gowda (73) who was working in the said house committed suicide by firing on himself using a Double Barrel Rifle belonging to Lingappa Gowda which was kept at their house without any safety.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. One Harinakshi (28) R/o Miyala house Kowkradi village Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped in to a pond near her house while taking bath and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. One Unknown dead body of male aged about 40 yrs was found on 11/11/2006 at 0800 hrs near Break water at sea shore Panambur Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to drowning.

- A Girl missing case has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On Teena Meera Kuvello (17) R/o Panjimogeru Kavoor Mangalore Taluk who went to Victoria Girls PU College at Ladyhill Mangalore on 07/11/2006 at 0830 hrs did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
