- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 23/11/2006 at 0430 hrs at Pampwell Mangalore one Rama Krishnan driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-09-U-5239 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3595. As a result one Vishwanatha (48) R/o Chembugudde house Thokkutu Mangalore Taluk driver of auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries. The auto rickshaw also got damaged.

On 23/11/2006 at 2130 hrs at 0930 hrs on NH-17 near Karavali College Bangra Kuloor Mangalore one Ravindra driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-4858 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-2265 due to which Lorry capsized. As a result driver of the Lorry Devadas (29) R/o Chitrapura Mangalore, Cleaner of the said Lorry Imthiyaz and few passenger in the Bus sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-A-1443 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti omni bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-2703 that was parked at left side on NH-48 at Nekkilady Puttur Taluk due to which the car got damaged. No casualties reported.

On 22/11/2006 at 1915 hrs accused Driver, Conductor and Cleaner of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-7696 criminally restrained a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2155 near Railway over Bridge at B.C. Road and assaulted driver of KSRTC bus Erayya (29) C/o Dharmastala Unit and conductor Ranganatha of the said bus by hand and also damaged the KSRTC bus owing to overtaking of the bus.

On 22/11/2006 at 1945 hrs at Karvel Belivoor village Puttur Taluk accused Ummarabba, Rafiq, Rahman and Ashraf assaulted one Gafar (21) R/o Karvel house Nekkilady village Puttur Taluk by hand and cold drink bottle. They also assaulted Khadar by hand who came to help Gafar owing to trivial issue.
