On 28/11/2006 at 2115 hrs one Ganesh Kulal (34) R/o Ajekala Amtadi Bantwal Taluk while approaching a flat in Kadri Towers Mallikatte Mangalore Taluk three unknown persons came in Indica car bearing Reg. No. 9711 and snatched a bag from Ganesh Kulal which contained cash Rs.one lakh.

- A case of Burglary has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On the night of 27-28/11/2006 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Shri Devi Chamundeshwari Temple by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of Panchaloha statue and other articles all in worth Rs. 30,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 28/11/2006 in between 1430 hrs and 1830 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into Mahalingeshwara Temple at Thumbe village and committed theft of Panchaloha idols and other articles all in worth Rs. 22,000/.

- A case under House trespass, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 27/11/2006 at 1200 hrs accused Krishana Raja, Sathya Ganesha and Prasad criminally trespassed into the house of one Manorama (47) w/o Suresha R/o Kuvekodi Guttigaru village Sullia Taluk and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her with wooden stick and gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 28/11/2006 at 2200 hrs at Nitalapura Golthamajalu village one Ashok rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CRX-6831 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Ashoka and pillion rider his wife Damayanthi sustained serious injuries. Further Ashoka succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 27/11/2006 at 1245 hrs at P.V.S. Circle Mangalore Taluk one driver of KSRTC Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2019 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CRX-4856 driven by one Walter D’Mello (68) R/o Matadakani Mangalore Taluk. As a result pillion rider Leema D’Mello (his wife) sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 28/11/2006 at 0815 hrs near Bendoor Mangalore one unknown Scooter rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sakkubai (04) D/o Nellikeri Bangalakote a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 27/11/2006 at 1615 hrs at Baithurli Kudupu village Mangalore Taluk one Clorin D’Souza driver of Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2633 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-26-E-6961. As a result motorcycle rider Suresh Poojary (29) and pillion rider Yuvaraj (40) sustained simple injuries.

On 28/11/2006 at 0730 hrs at Neelichilume Cross Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk one Sadiq driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-05-AP-5652 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-6858. As a result driver of the car Pradhan Kumar (38) and Mansoor (33) R/o Udupi who were travelling in the said car sustained simple injuries.

On 24/11/2006 at 0630 hrs at Kavalakatte Kavalapadoor village Bantwal Taluk one Abdul Muneer driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-262 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Mohammed Shareef (31) R/o Kavalapadur village Bantwal Taluk who was travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 27/11/2006 at 0730 hrs at Kalloni Bellare Sullia Taluk one Abdul Khadar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6843 drove his vehicle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which the motorcycle capsized. As a result pillion rider one Ibrahim (42) sustained simple injuries.

On 30/08/2006 at 1200 hrs one Sharadha w/o Dayananda R/o Maaladi Kuriya Belthangady Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while she was trying to light stove in her house and there after she succumbed her injuries on 28/11/2006 at 0815 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 28/11/2006 at 1130 hrs one Madhavi (74) R/o Madaka house Puttur Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while trying to light kerosene stove in her house. She was admitted to Government hospital at Puttur but she succumbed her injuries the same day while undergoing treatment.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 27/11/2006 one Sanjeeva (24) R/o Aletti village committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. One Sunil (40) R/o Meenakaliya Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.
