No. KA-19-V-1271 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sabiyaa Maqbul Ahmed (22) R/o Majid Hill Bikarnakatte Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.The motor cycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

- A case of Counterfeiting currency has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station on the complaint of Palaniyappan S. A (47) C/o ICMC Currency Chest ICICI Bank P.M.Rao. Road Mangalore where in it is alleged that in between 27/09/2006 and 09/11/2006 some unknown customers came to the ICICI Bank P.M.Rao. Road Mangalore and deposited cash. On checking, bank officials found 40 Nos. of counterfeit currency of face value Rs. 500/, 100/ and 50/ in the bundle.

- A case of Unnatural Death report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. One Anantharama Kalpure (47) R/o Kalpure house Nekkiladi village was injured due to snake bite near his house on 20/11/2006 at 1500 hrs. He was admitted to St. Thomas Clinic where he was declared dead while under treatment on 21/11/2006 at 0200 hrs.
