In between 30/03/2008 at 2000 hrs and 31/03/2008 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry gain into the shop at Kallugundi Sampaje village Sullia Taluk belonging to one Kosappa B.R. (49) R/o Sampaje village Sullia Taluk by removing the roof tiles and Garments committed theft of and cash Rs. 15,000/ all in worth Rs 17,000/.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 31/03/2008 at 1300 hrs accused Shailendra Kamath, Sumana Kamath and Sripada Kamath abused one Voilet Sequeira R/o Mannagudde Mangalore in filthy language near her house and assaulted her with wooden stick and also gave life threat to her. They also damage the compound hall. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.
- A case of outranging the modesty of women along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in the Surathkal Police Station. On 31/03/2008 at NITK Ladies hostel Surathkal Mangalore accused one Keshava Shetty abused one Arathi (19) R/o Kodipady Chelairu village Mangalore Taluk and Sheela in filthy language and tried to outrage their modesty by pulling their dress.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 31/03/2008 at 0950 hrs at Kaltta Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk one Udaya driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7567 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which one Safiya (49) R/o Mangalathi Manjanady village Mangalore who was traveling in the said bus got thrown out from bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Station. On 30/03/2008 at 2200 hrs at Ramalkatte Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk one Suresh Kumar driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6791 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Rajeev (36) R/o Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk who was traveling said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 26/03/2008 at 0900 hrs at Mundaje Padnoor village Puttur Taluk one Ivan Brax rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1487 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Melwin (32) R/o Mundaje Padnoor village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian caused him simple injuries.

On 17/03/2008 at 2030 hrs accused one Ravi abused one Alma (40) R/o Gandhadagudde Kanthamangala Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with sickle owing to trivial issue.

On 17/03/2008 at 1930 hrs accused one Lawrence D’Souza (58) R/o Janatha Colony Mupperiya village Sullia Taluk criminally retained one Abdul Majeed (28) R/o Balila village Sullia Taluk at Pajapalla Balila village Sullia Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with knife and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of abandoning a new born child has been registered in Ullal Police Station on the complaint of one Prathiama C/o Nirmala Convent Ullal Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that on 30/03/2008 at 2010 hrs some unknown persons left their newborn baby near Nirmala Convent at Ullal Mangalore and went away.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 31/03/2008 in between 1000 hrs and 1730 hrs one Ramani (45) R/o Katla Idya village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Women missing has been registered in Mulki Police Station. One Lalitha (32) W/o Cheluvaraju R/o Haripade Atturu village Mangalore left her house on 30/03/2008 at 1230 hrs and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
