- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 05/04/2008 at 1300 hrs at Hampankatte Mangalore one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Gururaj (32) R/o Hassan District a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 05/04/2008 at 1045 hrs near Ambedkar circle at Mangalore one Thirumalesha rider of Kinetic Nova scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-3403 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2295. As a result one Nidin (19) R/o Kulashekara Shakthinagara Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 05/04/2008 at 1930 hrs at Vaslane junction Mangalore one Mahesh Shet rider of Kinetic Nova scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-3964 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1094 due which auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Vincent Fernandez (52) R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore driver of said auto rickshaw and Mahesh Shet rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 05/04/2008 at 1430 hrs near Jalligudde Primary school at Derebail village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-874 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mallikarjuna (07) a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 04/04/2008 at 2030 hrs on NH 48 at K C road Golthamajalu village Bantwal Taluk one Dharmapala driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2254 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vishwanatha a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 05/04/2008 at 1900 hrs accused Manju @ Manjunatha and Sharan abused one Siddappa H.R. PSI Traffic East Police Station in filthy language while he was on duty near Platinum Theater at Mangalore and attempted to kill him by assaulting with sharp weapon and also gave life threat to him.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 05/04/2008 at 0900 hrs accused Dinesh and Sundara criminally restrained one Narayana Sheony (25) R/o Urwa Mangalore near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be that one Narayana Sheony had earlier lodged a complaint against accused persons in Urwa Police Station.
