- A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station where in one Stephan has been declared dead while under treatment on 02/04/2008 at 2130 hrs. The said Stephan was seriously injured by a bus in a road traffic accident on 02/04/2008 at 0900 hrs at Pichalar Indabettu village Belthangady Taluk and admitted to the Mangala Nursing Home at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Belthangady Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 02/04/2008 at 1430 hrs near Badriya College at Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-52-2527 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Gangachi (70) R/o Uppinadakke Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 02/04/2008 at 2230 hrs at Maroli Mangalore one rider of Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-5191 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-689. As a result motorcycle rider Rohithashwa (40) R/o Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and Sanjeeva pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. The Kinetic Honda scooter rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 01/04/2008 at 1630 hrs near Urumane cross at Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Haneef driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-760 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Mohammed Iqbal (18) R/o Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-B-924 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Narayana Das R/o Uppinadakke Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

On 28/03/2008 at 2000 hrs at Maripalla Pudu village Bantwal Taluk one Premanatha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-X-3745 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ananda Pinto A.J. R/o Maripalla Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

R/o Manipal Udupi and Ganesh near Jyothi bus stand at Mangalore and abused them in filthy language and assaulted Ganesh with cool drink bottle owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 02/04/2008 in between 0430 hrs and 0630 hrs one Kareem Saheb (48) R/o Thakode Karinje village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 02/04/2008 at 1300 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 40 yrs was found at Thoranakatte forest area Punacha village Bantwal Taluk. It seems to be a case of suicide by hanging.
