- A case of Robbery has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 29/03/2008 at 2130 hrs on Jeppu Bappalu cross road at Mangalore one Pushpalatha (61) W/o Ananda Shekara R/o Jeppu Bappalu cross road Mangalore was on her way to home by walk. At that time two unknown person came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away with their motorcycle. The value of the property is Rs. 48,500/.

On 08/04/2008 in between 1900 hrs and 2330 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Bachchu Sharma (35) R/o Kotekani cross Urwastore Mangalore by breaking door lock and committed theft of 6 Cutting machines, 3 Hand polish machines and 3 Molding Grinder machines all in worth Rs. 22,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 08/04/2008 at 1900 hrs on Chilimbi Urwastore road at Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-2003 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-2287. As a result Madhava rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 07/04/2008 at 1945 hrs on NH-48 at Kadakkal Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-3433 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-9058. Further motorcycle rider bearing Reg. KA-19-X-3433 lost control over his vehicle and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2480. As a result Mahesha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-9058 and Kunal Arun rider and Divya pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2480 sustained grevious injuries.

As a result Mohammed Shaheed (22) R/o Shakthinagara Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 07/04/2008 at 1400 hrs at Sathyanarayana Katte Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk one Krishna Poojary driver of maruthi car bearing Reg. No. GA-01-2033 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which car capsized. As a result Sudhakara Shetty (46) R/o Perdoor village Udupi District, Rashmi, Prema, Sarojini, Jeevan, Gulabi, Divith and Shashvir who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.
