- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 14/04/2008 at 2000 hrs on Azazuddin road at Mangalore one unknown driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-6412 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Krishna R/o Kanyakumari Tamilnadu State a pedestrian caused him grievous injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

As a result one Ishwar pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-C-9945 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-4434. As a result Kishore Kumar (26) R/o Arkula village Mangalore Taluk driver auto rickshaw, Bhaskara Alva, Sumithra Rai and Ashitha who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 15/04/2008 at 1800 hrs on credible information PSI Sullia PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Kanemaradka Mandekolu village Sullia Taluk and seized 32 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 960/ and cash Rs. 120/ by arresting one Mahalinga Maniyani (48) R/o Kanemaradka Mandekolu village Sullia Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 15/04/2008 at 1915 hrs on credible information PSI Sullia PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place near Higher Primary School at Mandekolu village Sullia Taluk and seized 35 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs.1050/ and cash Rs. 170/ by arresting Ramesh (26) R/o Mandekolu village Sullia Taluk and Husain B.A. (26) R/o Mandekolu village Sullia Taluk who were selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

On 15/04/2008 at 2115 hrs on credible information PSI Venoor PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Thumbedalke Gundoori village Puttur Taluk and seized 28 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs.900/ by arresting one Harish Poojary (32) R/o Narla Moodupadukody village Puttur Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
