- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 21/04/2008 at 2130 hrs near Anegundi cross road at Kapikadu Mangalore one Nelson driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7499 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Krishna (45) R/o Atthaje Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 17/04/2008 at 0900 hrs on Railway station road at Mangalore one unknown Kinetic Honda scooter rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Suresha (45) R/o Ujire Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The Kinetic Honda scooter rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 21/04/2008 at 1600 hrs at Moodukonaje Moodabidre Town one Sachin Kumar driver of Hyundai car bearing Reg. No. KA-04-Z-9660 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against pedestrians Sudiksha (04) and Chaithra and caused them grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-X-0517 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ibrahim Saleem (30) R/o Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 21/04/2008 at 1500 hrs on Kokkada-Dharmasthala road at Koukarady village Puttur Taluk one Mathew A.C. rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-NT-238 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-2026 driven by one Thirthesha (22) R/o Shibaje village Belthangady Taluk. As a result riders and pillion riders of both motorcycles sustained simple injuries.

On 22/04/2008 at 1015 hrs at Gadipila Narimogru village Puttur Taluk one Chandrashekara driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9193 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. TN-60-B-3429. As a result Gopi M. (19) R/o Neharu Nagaru Puttur Town pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 22/04/2008 in between 0900 hrs and 0930 hrs one Deepa (17) D/o Manohara R/o Bangady road Ashokanagara Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 21/04/2008 at 2300 hrs one Suguna J. Shetty (43) R/o Aliyuru Valpady village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the well near her house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 22/04/2008 at 1900 hrs one unidentified male dead body aged about 30 yrs to 35 yrs been found in highly decomposed stage near Deepak Petrol pump at Panambur Mangalore. The death seems to be due to some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 22/04/2008 at 1300 hrs one Krishappa Gowda (40) R/o Nelligudde Kalanja village Belthangady Taluk accidentally fell down from the tree while cutting branches of the tree and got seriously injured near his house. Further Krishna Gowda succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
