Patil (41) R/o Dasarahalli Bangalore and forcibly took away a mobile phone, gold ornaments gold ornaments (05 grams) and cash Rs 405/ all in worth Rs. 8,905/.
- A case of Robbery has been registered in Mulki Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 26/04/2008 at 1330 hrs on Durga road Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one Devaki (65) R/o Punarooru Thalipadi village Mangalore Taluk was on her way to home by walk. At that time one unknown person came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away due which Devaki got simple injuries. The value of the property is Rs. 20,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 26/04/2008 at 1600 hrs near Fire Service Station at Kuntikana Mangalore one Biju driver of Track bearing Reg. No. KL-58-A-3945 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-N -127 driven by one Lakshinarayana Sharma R/o Santhekatte Udupi. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 26/04/2008 at 13150 hrs at Ujire junction Belthangady Taluk one Mahesh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5575 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Dharmanna Naik R/o Kukkendra Belalu village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 26/04/2008 at 0630 hrs accused Praveen Rai assaulted one Naveen Rai (36) R/o Purkala Putthila village Belthangady Taluk by hand near his house and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute.

On 26/04/2008 on credible information PSI Moodabidre PS along with staff conducted a raid on an open place at Gantalkatte Karinje village Mangalore Taluk and seized 28 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 1,400/ and cash Rs. 415/ by arresting Ivan D’ Souza who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
