- A case of Murder has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 03/04/2008 at 1900 hrs and 04/03/2008 at 0800 hrs at Kalikamba Gudde Savanalu village Belthangady Taluk accused Koragappa Poojary and others with common intention abused one Narayana Malekudiya R/o Anyadi Palke house Savanalu village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and murdered him by assaulting with deadly weapons. The motive seems to be to personal enmity between deceased Narayana Malekudiya and accused Koragappa Poojary.

- A case of Robbery has been registered in Kavoor Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 04/04/2008 at 1200 hrs at Kuloor junction Mangalore, one Baby (65) R/o Bangrakuloor Mangalore was on her way to home. At that time, accused Indirarani, Sathya and Rajeshwari came near her and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away. Meanwhile they were caught red hand by the public and handed over to the Police. The value of property is around Rs.15000/.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Outraging the modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 27/03/2008 near Cashew Factory at Badagayedapadavu village Mangalore one Ashalatha (15) R/o Badagayedapadavu village Mangalore was on her way to school by walk. At that time accused one Saleem R/o Thodaru village Mangalore came in a motorcycle criminally restrained her and tried to outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and abused her in filthy language referring to her caste and also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 03/04/2008 at 1630 hrs near Infosis at Kottara Mangalore one Rajesh Kudva driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-350 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a TVS victor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-6188. As a result one Tharanatha Poojary (36) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 03/04/2008 at 1815 hrs on NH 17 near Fire Station at Kuntikana Mangalore one driver of Tata Sumo car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-5194 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-2772. As a result Sanjaya Kumar (20) R/o Light house hill road Mangalore motorcycle rider and Bhavana pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 04/04/2008 at 0730 hrs near Dekkan Park at Kinjaru village Mangalore Taluk one Sesappa Gowda driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5228 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Janardhna Safaliga (65) R/o Ullal Mangalore who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 01/04/2008 at 2100 hrs at Maravoor Kenjaru village Mangalore Taluk one Mohan K. driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-C-8350 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Mohan driver of lorry and Ravichandra Gowda (21) R/o Kasaragod district Kerala State who was traveling in the said lorry sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 03/04/2008 at 1230 hrs near Little flower at Kinnigoli Thalipady village Mangalore one Sunil Poojary driver of Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-8383 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Castile Thowro (10) a pedestrian and caused him injuries.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 01/04/2008 at 2030 hrs accused one Praveen and Prakasha criminally restrained one Purushothama (18) R/o Dasakodi Balthial village Bantwal Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Radha (20) R/o Chikkana @ Raju R/o H.D. Kote Taluk Mysore district who was working as a housemaid in the house of one Janaki Shetty R/o Madoor Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk has been found missing from 24/02/2008 at 1030 hrs.
