- A case of Burglary has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 13/04/2008 at 2230 hrs 14/04/2008 at 0500 hrs one Shekara (20) R/o Hoovina Hadagali Taluk Ballari District gained entry into the house belonging to one Balakrishna Karkera (55) R/o Kodikal Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of Copper Vessel (Hande) worth Rs. 5,000/.

- A case under Cheating along with SC/ST Prevention of Atrocity act has been registered in Mulki Police Station where in it is alleged that one Santhosha (27) R/o Muchchur village Mangalore Taluk had sexual intimacy with one Twenty year girl of Gutthakadu Thalipady village Mangalore Taluk belonging to Koraga community by promising to marry her. There upon he refused to marry her and cheated her.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 07/04/2008 at 1930 hrs on Ganeshpura-Cargo Gate road at Bala village Mangalore Taluk one Kishore driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-35-C-8289 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-2676. As a result Kinetic Honda scooter rider Shekara and his wife Akkamahadevi pillion rider of said scooter sustained serious injuries. Further both were admitted to the A.J hospital at Mangalore where Akkamahadevi succumbed to her injuries on the same day.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 04/05/2008 at 1000 hrs at Permude Mangalore one Narayana driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6533 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-7352. As a result motorcycle rider one Fr. Andrew D’Costa (38) R/o Kasaragod District Kerala State sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 07/05/2008 at 0715 hrs on NH 17 at Thalapady Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-4343 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8934. As a result motorcycle rider one Manamohana Rai (29) R/o Kasaragod District Kerala State sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 05/04/2008 at 2100 hrs near Appila Temple at Neriya village Belthangady Taluk one Saji rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-8099 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Monica Thomas a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 05/04/2008 at 1000 hrs at Panjigaru Bellare village Sullia Taluk one Ganesha driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-09-3267 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which lorry capsized. As a result one Yellappa P. (25) R/o Thirthahalli Taluk Shimoga district cleaner of said lorry sustained grievous injuries.

On 06/04/2008 at 0115 hrs accused Patel Fayaz, Yaseen Baji, Yusuf Baji, Jakriya Baji, Naheem Bangady, Bangady Fayaz and Arif Sheik forming into an unlawful assembly near Gurukambala at Kaikamba Mangalore and abused one Saiyed Khaleel (55) R/o Kinnikambala Kaikamba Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with chair and damaged his spectacle and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 06/04/2008 at 1945 hrs at the premises of Communication Network Ltd. at Trade Center Building Jyothi Mangalore accused one unknown person criminally restrained one Rakesh Poojary R/o Kutthar village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

On 07/04/2008 at 2115 hrs accused Nagaraja, Ravi and other one person criminally restrained one Vittal Varadaraya Pai (40) R/o Punaroor Mangalore near Balaji junction at Mangalore and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 06/04/2008 at 0030 hrs accused Charan, Prasad @ Pasu, Sudarshan and Manja abused one Vasantha (28) R/o near Corporation Workers Quarters at Mahakalipadppu Mangalore in filthy language near his house and assaulted him by hand and referring to his caste and also gave life threat him owing to trivial issue.

On 06/04/2008 at 0115 hrs at Gurukambla Masque Kinnikambala Mangalore accused Saiyad Khaleel and Saiyad Gayaz abused one Patel Fayaz in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod and damaged the furniture belonging to Mosque and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Hurt has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 06/04/2008 at 2030 hrs near Sadashiva Temple at Surathkal Mangalore accused one Sudhakara (25) R/o Kadandale village Mangalore Taluk assaulted one Sathisha Gowda (25) R/o Kadandale village Mangalore Taluk with stone owing to financial dispute between them.

- A case of Kidnapping has been registered in Surathkal Police Station relating to kidnapping of one Shubhalakshmi (18) D/o Rathnakara Acharya R/o Padupadavu 9th Block Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk by Dinesha. The said Shubhalakshmi was gone to college at Mangalore on 29/03/2008 at 0800 hrs and found missing from since. Now as it is confirmed that she has been lured away by Dinesha, the case has been converting to kidnapping.
