On 03/04/2008 at 1130 hrs accused 4 unknown female and an unknown male persons came to Sagoon Silk shop at Surathkal Mangalore belonging to Samshuddin and pretended as a customer and committed theft of 10 silk Sarees worth Rs. 35,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 03/04/2008 at 0830 hrs at Malemaru cross Derebailu Mangalore one Vasantha driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-N-1054 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-5999. As a result Sunil Rao (36) R/o Jappinamogaru Mangalore scooter rider and his wife Sahana pillion rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.

On 03/04/2008 at 1000 hrs on Kana-Chokkabettu road at Idya village Mangalore Taluk one Ashoka driver of tractor bearing Reg. No. KA-25-7698 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bajaj M80 motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-3546. As a result Anwar motorcycle rider and Sulaiman (26) R/o Delenthabettu village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 03/04/2008 at 1930 hrs at Deralakki Baraya Kanyady village Belthangady Taluk one Sadananda Nayak driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-C-1089 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Shanthappa Gowda R/o Navoor village Belthangady Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

On 03/04/2008 at 1015 hrs accused one Kesava, Yathisha, Shivarama and Seena stopped the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-8014 near bus stand at Kuloor Mangalore and abused the one Mohammed Haneef (36) R/o Belapu Udupi District driver of said bus and assaulted him by hand and they also damaged the bus by breaking front glass owing to trivial issue.

On 02/04/2008 at 2020 hrs accused one Ummar D.M. R/o Jattipalla Sullia Town criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Abdul Jabbar (47) R/o Kurunjibhag Sullia Town and abused him and his wife in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also damaged the house by breaking window glass owing to financial issue.

He also assaulted Sharif and Shahid with cold drink bottle who were came to help Ummar owing to financial issue.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 02/04/2008 at 2030 hrs accused Damodhara M.P, Mohandas C.H, Obayya C.H and Harisha S. abused one Udaya Kumar (30) R/o Kukkatte Mandekoolu village Sullia Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with stone and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 03/04/2008 at 2115 hrs on credible information CPI Sullia PS along with his staff conducted raid on a room at Swathi Lodge Sillia Town and arrested Kumari, Abdul Ravoof, Sabbeer and Musthafa who were soliciting for prostitution there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 03/04/2008 at 1815 hrs one unknown male beggar dead body aged about 75 yrs was found near Kukkaje APMC yard at Manchi village Bantwal Taluk. The death seems to be due some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 03/04/2008 at 1300 hrs one Shruthi (17) R/o Shivaji Nagara Vittal committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. In between 02/04/2008 at 0830 hrs 03/04/2008 at 0700 hrs one Gopal Nalike (45) R/o Kodippady village Puttur Taluk was found dead at Arka Higher Primary school at Kodippady village Puttur Taluk. The death seems to be due to heavy drunkenness.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Benitha Casta (83) R/o Balmatta Mangalore went Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore for treatment on 03/04/2008 at 1100 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
