On 27/04/2008 at 1245 hrs near Nekkila Gudde ground at Derebail village Mangalore Taluk one Vijaya S. Upadyaya (44) R/o Nekkilagudde Derebail village Mangalore Taluk was on her way to home by walk. At that time two unknown person came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away with their motorcycle. The value of the property is Rs. 45,000/.

On 27/04/2008 at 1600 hrs at Sandspit Thotabengere Mangalore accused Bhaskara Suvarna, Babith, Bhavish criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Leelavathi (34) R/o Sandspit Thotabengere Mangalore and assaulted her with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

On 27/04/2008 at 2245 hrs near Yemmekere cross road at Mangaladevi Mangalore one driver of Pick up vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9172 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against pedestrians Bharath and Narendra and caused them simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 28/04/2008 at 1245 hrs on NH-48 at Shirady village Puttur Taluk one Venugopala driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-03-MD-9810 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which car capsized. As a result Venugopal driver of car, Bhaskara, Vedavathi and Muniratna who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 28/04/2008 at 1000 hrs at Jogibettu Peraje village Bantwal Taluk one Abdul Akram driver of Tata Sumo jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MC-1839 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Tata Sumo jeep capsized. As a result Deekshitha (22) R/o Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk, Damodhara, Mamatha, Usha and Harishchandra who were traveling in the said Tata Sumo jeep sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 27/04/2008 at 1230 hrs at Deraje Sajipa Nadu village Bantwal Taluk one John D’Souza rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2320 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-4271. As a result motorcycle rider John D’Souza and Rajesh pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 27/04/2008 at 1145 hrs on B.C. road at Bantwal Town one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2172 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due, which one Abba who was traveling in the said KSRTC bus got thrown out, from bus and sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 28/04/2008 in between 1000 hrs and 1700 hrs one Ramesha (25) attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison at Kaipandody Marody village Belthangady Taluk owing to financial problem. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 29/04/2008 at 0300 hrs.
