- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 19/04/2008 at 1300 hrs at Banglagudde Mooluru village Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider motorcycle bearing Reg.No KA-19-V-8744 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammed a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 23/04/2008 at 1130 hrs at Mitthakodi Kurnadu village Bantwal Taluk one Raghavadas driver of Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-5209 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-444. As a result motorcycle rider Khaleel Rehaman (24) R/o Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk and Ummer Farooq pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 24/04/2008 at 1600 hrs near St. Sebastian church at Thokkuttu Mangalore one Ananda Gowda driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-126 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8904. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Jerald D’Souza (38) R/o Uliya village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

On 24/04/2008 at 1800 hrs at Siddavana Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Shivananda driver of Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-7286 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-18. As a result Shivananda driver of Maruti Omni car, Prabhakara (32) R/o Perduru village Udupi district, Ganga, Rathna and Suma who were traveling in the said Maruti omni car sustained simple injures.

Gowda (62) R/o Hariharapallathadka village Sullia Taluk a pedestrian from behind and caused him simple injuries.

- A case under Rioting, House trespass, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 21/04/2008 at 1800 hrs accused Ganesh Poojary, Shivappa Poojary and othe 25 persons forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into house belonging to one Chandrahas (42) R/o Parappu site Ira village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him and his wife Leeavathi by hand with wooden stick and also gave life threat to them. The accused also damaged the house by pelting stone.

- A case under Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Mischief causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 23/04/2008 at 0930 hrs accused Dora D’Souza, Dolphin D’Souza, Dolly and Lethish D’Souza criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one John Bapist D’Souza R/o Atthavara Mangalore and abused him and Felcy D’Souza(26) in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with wooden stick and damaged house by breaking the household materials and also gave life threat to them. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.
- A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 22/04/2008 at 2000 hrs at Kuchigudda Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk accused Abdul Salm, Nazir, Sharif and Farooque assaulted one Hydarali (19) R/o Kuchigudda Bantwal Taluk by hand and also gave life threat to him owing financial dispute between accused Nazir and Hydarali.

R/o Malemar Derebailu Mangalore They also abused her in filthy language and gave life threat to her. The Motive seems to be family dispute between Meenakshi and accused Manjuantha A.S.

On 24/04/2008 at 1945 hrs on credible information PSI (L&O) Mangalore South PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place near Jeppu Market at Mangalore and seized 12 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 400/ by arresting Rama (35) R/o Punjalakatte Bantwal Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

On 24/04/2008 at 2000 hrs on credible information PSI (Crime) Mangalore South PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place near Babugudde at Mangalore and seized 14 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 420/ by arresting Harisha Poojary (20) R/o Belthangady Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

On 24/04/2008 at 1645 hrs on credible information PSI Bantwal Town PS along with staff conducted a raid on petty shop near Barimaru school at Barimaru village Bantwal Taluk and seized 15 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 560/ by arresting Harisha (35) R/o Papethimaru Bantwal Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
