- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 19/04/2008 at 1300 hrs at Banglagudde Mooluru village Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider motorcycle bearing Reg.No KA-19-V-8744 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammed a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 23/04/2008 at 1130 hrs at Mitthakodi Kurnadu village Bantwal Taluk one Raghavadas driver of Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-5209 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-444. As a result motorcycle rider Khaleel Rehaman (24) R/o Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk and Ummer Farooq pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

As a result auto rickshaw driver one Jerald D’Souza (38) R/o Uliya village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

As a result Shivananda driver of Maruti Omni car, Prabhakara (32) R/o Perduru village Udupi district, Ganga, Rathna and Suma who were traveling in the said Maruti omni car sustained simple injures.

- A case under Rioting, House trespass, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 21/04/2008 at 1800 hrs accused Ganesh Poojary, Shivappa Poojary and othe 25 persons forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into house belonging to one Chandrahas (42) R/o Parappu site Ira village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him and his wife Leeavathi by hand with wooden stick and also gave life threat to them. The accused also damaged the house by pelting stone.

On 23/04/2008 at 0930 hrs accused Dora D’Souza, Dolphin D’Souza, Dolly and Lethish D’Souza criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one John Bapist D’Souza R/o Atthavara Mangalore and abused him and Felcy D’Souza(26) in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with wooden stick and damaged house by breaking the household materials and also gave life threat to them. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.

On 22/04/2008 at 2000 hrs at Kuchigudda Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk accused Abdul Salm, Nazir, Sharif and Farooque assaulted one Hydarali (19) R/o Kuchigudda Bantwal Taluk by hand and also gave life threat to him owing financial dispute between accused Nazir and Hydarali.
