In between 12/04/2008 at 1830 hrs and 14/04/2008 at 1000 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Godown at Nellikai road Mangalore belonging to Karnataka Sahakari Oilseeds Growers Committee by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 6, 935/.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 13/04/2008 at 2200 hrs and 14/04/2008 at 0630 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Maruti Omni Van bearing Reg. No. KA-14-M-6546 belonging to one Kumar (21) R/o Shimoga that was parked at the parking place of Hotel Kavith Residency at Urwa stores Mangalore. The Maruti Omni car is worth Rs. 1,30,00/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 01/04/2008 at 0720 hrs at Kankandy Mangalore one Ravi driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7567 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner as a result one Abdul Khadar K (46) R/o Nithyananda Nagara Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said bus sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 13/04/2008 at 1945 on NH 17 at Baikampady Mangalore one Suchith driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9933 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result one Bharath (32) R/o Mudabettu Kulai Mangalore rider of said bicycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 14/04/2008 at 0830 hrs at Jakribettu Bantwal Town one Abdul Razak driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-1853 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-3720. As a result rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 13/04/2008 at 2030 hrs at Kaikamba B.C. road Bantwal Town one Keshava Shetty driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-7733 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Janardhana Saliyan (32) R/o Bantwal Town a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 14/04/2008 at 1630 hrs at Pulithadi Paduvanoor village Puttur Taluk one Hemachandra driver of Pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-12-6126 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result Junain bicycle rider and Fyzal pillion rider of said bicycle sustained simple injuries.

On 15/04/2008 at 0130 hrs accused Prabhakara, Narashinha, Shrinatha, Balakrishan and Rama forming into an unlawful assembly at Kempugudde Mananpady village Mangalore Taluk and Criminally restrained one Mohan @ Deepu (27) R/o Kilpady village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with cold drink bottle and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.

- A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 14/04/2008 at 1745 hrs Philomina D’Souza R/o Valencia Mangalore sustained serious injuries while getting down from the lift at Nadndagir hostel at Bavutagudde Mangalore due to the negligence of Managemnt of said Hostel. Further she was admitted to K.M.C hospital where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on the same day.

On 13/04/2008 at 2100 hrs on credible information PSI Belgthangady PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Maddadka Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk and seized 30 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs.900/ and cash Rs. 60/ by arresting one Anni Poojary (53) R/o Kudrekallu Odinala village Belthangady Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 14/04/2008 at 0830 hrs and 15/04/2008 at 0730 hrs one Yamuna (55) R/o Nadubalike house Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by hanging near her house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 13/04/2008 at 1500 hrs one Ananda Gowda (48) accidentally fell down from the coconut tree while removing coconuts at Joyson compound Belthangady Taluk and got seriously injured. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 15/04/2008 at 0740 hrs.
