- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 02/04/2008 at 1300 hrs at Bendoorwell Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. KA-19-J-1362 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abdul Majeed (24) R/o Ammunje village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore South Police Station. On 17/04/2008 at 2230 hrs near A.B. Shetty circle at Mangalore one driver auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7379 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-6682. As a result motorcycle rider one Bindesh sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 17/04/2008 at 1800 hrs at Mulki Mangalore one Ramesh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. Ka-19-W-1172 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against pedestrians Appi (54) R/o Koyyur Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk and Prashanth and caused them grievous injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Ramesh motorcycle rider and Jayaraj pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Moodabidre Police Station. On 18/04/2008 at 1645 hrs at on Moodabidre-Venoor road one unknown driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5581 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle. As a result Krishna Prasad B (22) R/o Aryapu village Puttur Taluk and Balachandra pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Belthangady Police Station. On 18/04/2008 at 0750 hrs at Poottukere Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk one driver Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2227 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9874. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Mohammed Haneef (27) R/o Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 18/04/2008 at 1630 hrs on credible information PSI Bantwal Rural PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Bhandasale Panjikallu village Bantwal Taluk and seized 49 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 1,600/ by arresting one Rukmaya Poojary (45) R/o Sarapady village Bantwal Tauk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 18/04/2008 at 1000 hrs on credible information PSI Bantwal Town PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Golthamajalu Bantwal Town and seized 18 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 498/ by arresting one Sundara (55) R/o Veerakamba village Bantwal Tauk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 18/04/2008 at 1630 hrs on credible information PSI Belthangady PS along with staff intercepted a jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-12-N-8877 at Periyashanthi cross road Koukardy village Puttur Taluk and seized 2 Boxes of liquor worth Rs. 3,000/ from the jeep by arresting driver of said jeep one Sanjeeva (25) R/o Pavaripalla Patrame village Belthangady Taluk, which was being transported illegally. The jeep has also been seized. The total value of the seized property including the jeep is around Rs. 1, 23,000/.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 18/04/2008 in between 1500 hrs and 1900 hrs one Sathisha Belchapada (51) R/o Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his Tailoring Shop at Uchila Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 18/04/2008 at 1315 hrs one Vishwanatha (42) R/o Da mrkas Moodumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into pond while working near his house and got serious injuries. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 18/04/2008 at 1315 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 17/04/2008 at 1200 hrs one unknown male beggar dead body aged about 40 to 45 yrs was found on NH 48 at Bramara Kootlu Karlige village Bantwal Taluk. The death seems to be due some illness.

- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Rohinichandra P. (26) W/o Mahadevappa K. R/o Valencia Mangalore went to work at Fr. Muller Hospital Mangalore on 19/04/2008 and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/04/2008 at 1230 hrs one Tanseela (16) D/o Abubakkar R/o Charmady Belthangady Taluk district went to Railway station at Mangalore and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
