- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 08/09/2008 at 1430 hrs near Car Street at Mangalore one Narendra Shet (26) rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-7224 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due, which the motorcycle capsized. As a result Narendra Shet (26) R/o Boloor Mangalore rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 08/09/2008 at 2000 hrs near Ladyhill Circle at Mangalore one driver of Fiat car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-4874 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-8932. As a result motorcycle rider Sandeep Salian (35) R/o Urwa Mangalore and Sunil pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-X-5529 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohan Poojary (47) R/o Konaje village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 08/09/2008 at 1300 hrs on NH 48 at Siribagilu village Puttur Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-13-A-3556 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Omnni car bearing Reg. No. KA-31-3213. As a result Subraya Shet (23) R/o Siddapura Uttara Kannada District driver of Maruti Omni car, Sharada, Nagesh and others who were traveling in the said Maruti Omni car sustained simple injuries.
