• A case of Outraging the modesty of woman has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 17/09/2007 at 0815 hrs at Jokatte Mangalore accused one Vishwanatha conductor of bus misbehaved with one Sabeena (15) R/o Badriya Nagara Bajpe Mangalore who was passenger of said bus by pulling her dress and thereby outraged her modesty.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 17/09/2008 at 1730 hrs near Kudmal Ranga Rao junction at Mangalore one Damodhara driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-5999 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Joseph (54) R/o Arkula Farangipete Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 17/09/2008 at 1600 hrs on NH-17 at Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk one Lokesh Poojary driver of Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4774 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Raju Poojary (68) a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 17/09/2008 at 1000 hrs near Mooda Market at Idya village Mangalore Taluk one Abubakkar driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-1347 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a M80 motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-3688. As result one Umarabba B. (60) R/o Krishnapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk rider of M80 motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 17/09/2008 accused 15 students of Jokatte junior college forming into unlawful assembly near Jokate junior college at Mangalore and abused one Vishwanatha (30) R/o Nelyady village Puttur Taluk and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 15/09/2008 at 1030 hrs accused Dawood, Jainuddin, Imran and Rizwan forming into unlawful assembly at 8th Block Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk and Criminally restrained one Mohammed Ali (42) R/o 8th Block Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him and his wife Mumthaz by hand owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 17/09/2008 at 1640 hrs one Sahadeva C.K. (16) committed suicide by hanging in his Hostel room No. 203 at St Aloysius College Mangalore owing to personal problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 17/09/2008 at 2400 hrs one Sandeep (18) R/o Monthimaru Manchi village Bantwal Taluk while working at Kukkaje Manchi village Bantwal Taluk accidentally touched the electric wire due which he got electrocuted and died on the spot.

Missing Persons: 02

• A case of Woman missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Jaiza (23) W/o Husain R/o Kana Katla Idya village Mangalore Taluk left her house on 10/09/2008 at 2030 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. One Karthik (16) S/o Padmayya Gowda R/o Soodlu Bilinele village Puttur Taluk left his house on 08/09/2008 at 0830 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
