In between 24/09/2008 at 2000 hrs and 29/09/2008 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Madhava Gowda (45) R/o Nadupalke Kompadavu village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft cash Rs. 5,000/ and gold ornaments all in worth Rs. 80,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On the night of 28/09/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Ankur Enterprises Arecanut Shop at Adyanadka Kepu village Bantwal Taluk and committed theft of 08 bags of arecanut that were kept inside a shop belonging to one Praveen Banjan (24) R/o Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 24,480/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. In between 27/09/2008 at 1400 hrs and 30/09/2008 at 0830 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into Anganavadi School at Indabettu village Puttur Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of two Gas Cylinders belonging to Akshara Dasoha Yojane. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 2, 000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 29/09/2008 at 0945 hrs near Ambedkar circle at Jyothi Mangalore one Shubhananda Sheety driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-3121 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Active scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-106. As a result Honda Active scooter rider one Ganesh Devadiga sustained serious injuries. Further Ganesh Devadiga was succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

No. KA-19-Q-1708 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner dashed against a one Mohammed Ujeer (52) R/o Ambika road Kapikad Mangalore a pedstrain and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 29/09/2008 at 1620 hrs near Vidyanagara cross at Panjimogaru Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2956 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-3188. As a result Varsha K. Pai R/o Kavoor Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-3188 and Suresh K. Pai pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

On 28/09/2008 at 0030 hrs accused Harish, Santhosh, Naveen and other one person abused one Rajesh J.M (38) R/o Bajal Mangalore in filthy language near Munchoor school at Madya village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 29/09/2008 at 1400 hrs accused Saiman D Souza, Anil D Souza and Naveen D Souza criminally restrained one Krishnappa R/o Ambedkar Nagara Navoor village Bantwal Taluk near his house and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute between them.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 29/09/2008 at 2110 hrs on credible information PSI Belthangady PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place Bolmanaru Puduvettu village Belthangady Taluk and seized 75 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs.2, 500/ and cash Rs.120/ by arresting one Joseph @ Jose (65) R/o Puduvettu village Belthangady Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 22/09/2008 at 1700 hrs one Prashantha (28) R/o Chembugudde Permanoor village Mangalore Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison owing to financial problem. Futher he was admitted to Fr Muller hospital at Mangalore were he declared dead while under treatment on 29/09/2208 at 8000 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 29/09/2008 at 1315 hrs one Shelyan Pinto (18) accidentally slipped into the Shambhavi river at Kolache Kambla Mangalore while he taking bath and died due drowning.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Parvathi (27) D/o Veerappa Naik R/o Perla Tharipadpu Sarapady village Bantwal Taluk left her house on 27/09/2008 at 1300 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
