In between 13/09/2008 at 1500 hrs and 15/09/2008 at 0800 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into DKZPHP School at Peribettu Valpady village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of 2 Gas cylinders belonging to Akshara Dasoha Yojane. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 2, 000/.

• A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On the night of 14/09/2008 one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-4418 committed theft of 500 meters telephone cable that was fixed to the telephone poles and a telephone pole belonging to BSNL at Bellare Murulya village Bantwal Taluk. The stolen property is worth Rs. 2,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 15/09/2008 in between 1545 hrs and 1600 hrs at Lalbhag Mangalore one Prashanth rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-8852 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due, which the motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Prashantha and Nelson pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

On 15/09/2008 at 1730 hrs accused 3 unknown persons criminally restrained one Agatthan C. (42) R/o Kavinakallu Kulai village Mangalore Taluk on NH-17 at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with sickle and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 15/09/2008 at 2000 hrs accused Prakash and Niranjan abused one Yahya (20) R/o Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language near Hospital at Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk and assaulted him with sword owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 14/09/2008 at 1900 hrs accused Manikanta abused one Prakash @ John crostha (23) R/o Sampaje village Sullia Taluk in filthy language near Post Office at Kallugundy Sampaje village Sullia Taluk and assaulted him with stone owing to previous enmity.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 15/09/2008 at 0830 hrs accused Devid Crostha, Prakash @ John crostha and Theresa abused one Prakash (32) R/o Kaipadka Sampaje village Sullia Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with wooden stick owing to previous enmity.
