• A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 08/09/2008 at 1800 hrs and 09/09/2008 at 0845 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into Post Office near Milagres Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 6, 085/ and Postal Stamp worth Rs. 1,610 all in worth Rs. 7695.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 08/09/2008 at 1930 hrs and 09/09/2008 at 0800 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Sri Vitoba Rukumayee Mandira at Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold, silver ornaments and cash Rs. 5000/ all in worth Rs. 55,000/.

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 08/09/2008 at 1130 hrs and 09/09/2008 at 0630 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-3090 belonging to one Abdul Raheeman R/o Kunil Park S.L. Mathais road Mangalore that was parked in the premise of his house. The Scorpio car is worth Rs. 7,50,000/.

• A case of outranging the modesty of women has been registered in the Mangalore North Police Station. On 06/09/2008 at 1430 hrs accused one Dhanesh (29) R/o Gowri Mata Street Mangalore abused one Saritha (20) D/o Gangadhara Devadiga R/o Kapithanio road Mangalore in Bharath Steal & Gift center at Market road Mangalore in filthy language and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 08/09/2008 at 0945 hrs at Mahakalipadpu Mangalore one Chandappa driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5709 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sudarshan Shetty (23) R/o Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 08/09/2008 at 1645 hrs at Konnepadavu Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7915 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-7156. As a result motorcycle rider one Aboobakkar B. (47) R/o Kenjala village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 08/09/2008 at 1715 hrs near Kadepalla Bridge at Moodabidre Mangalore one Mohandas driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-3065 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-V-1544. As a result motorcycle rider one Bharath Shetty (19) R/o Thaloor village Kundapura Taluk and Ranjith pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 04

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 09/09/2008 at 1300 hrs one Thukarama (47) R/o Koppala Padavu village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the well near his house owing to financial problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered Ullal Police Station where in the dead body of one Chandrashekara (32) R/o Kananthoor Balepuni village Bantwal Taluk has been found in Seashore at Kotepura Ullal Mangalore. The said Chandrashekara had committed suicide by jumping into the Arabian Sea on 07/09/2008 and a missing case was already registered in Konaje Police Station.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 09/09/2008 at 1400 hrs one unknown female dead body aged about 40 yrs to 45 yrs was found near KSRTC bus stand at Dharmastala village Belthangady Taluk. The death seems to be due to some illness.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. In between 08/09/2008 at 1700 hrs and 09/09/2008 at 0800 hrs one Annu Naik (38) R/o Bappa Pundelu Ariyadka village Puttur Taluk accidentally fell down due some illness near his house. The death seems to be due to some illness.
