• A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 18/09/2008 at 0200 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mohammed S.R. (45) R/o Millathnagara Ullal Mangalore by breaking the back door lock and committed theft a HP Gas Cyclinder worth Rs. 2,000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. In between 18/09/2008 at 2000 hrs and 19/09/2008 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Sri Balakrishna Swami Temple at Ecchiru Ilanthila village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the main door lock and committed theft a Panchaloha idol and other Pooja Articles all in worth Rs. 20,000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On the night of 18-19/09/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into Anganavadi School at Pernaje Mudnoor village Puttur Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of a Gas Cylinder and 10 Kgs of rice belonging to Akshara Dasoha Yojane. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 1, 000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 19/09/2008 at 1130 hrs near Durgamahal junction at Mannagudde Mangalore one driver of Tempo rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7243 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Swift car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7243 driven by one Naveen Kumar M.S. R/o Ashokanagara Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 17/09/2008 at 1630 hrs Gadypalke Sangabettu village Bantwal Taluk one Raymond D Souza driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-1794 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result one Vadiraja rider of said bicycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 18/09/2008 at 1700 hrs accused Janardhana Gowda, Satheesha Gowda and Ganesh Gowda assaulted one Lingappa Gowda (20) R/o Hosabettu Mitthabagilu village Belthangady Taluk by hand near his house and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Lingappa Gowda and accused persons.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 18/09/2008 at 1245 hrs one Hanumantha R/o Bejai Mangalore accidentally fell down due some illness near Navabharath Circle at Mangalore. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 19/09/2008 at 1930 hrs. The death seems to be due to some illness.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 19/09/2008 at 0700 hrs one Yathisha (28) R/o Ulavaru Aranthodu village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 18/09/2008 at 0800 hrs one Bharath Kumar (13) R/o Darkas Koila village Bantwal Taluk went to school at Vamadapadavu Bantwal Town and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
