On 26/08/2009 at 2145 hrs one unknown person aged about 35 yrs to 40 yrs committed theft cash Rs. 8, 000/ from the pocket of one Dhananjaya (26) R/o Alangaru Puttur Taluk while he was walking near Clock Tower at Mangalore.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 28/09/2008 at 1915 hrs at Umanagudde Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk one Somappa driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9285 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Shridhara a pedestrian due which he got serious injuries and died on the post.

On 27/09/2008 at 0820 hrs near Bus stand at Baligastore Bejai Mangalore one Vincent Sagar (19) R/o Derebail Konchady Mangalore passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3985 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 28/09/2008 at 1230 hrs at Falneer road Mangalore one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-4442 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-7445 from behind driven by one Prathviraj (45) R/o Kankanady Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 27/09/2008 at 1445 hrs near Believers Church at Thenkayedapadu village Mangalore Taluk one Prakash Poojary rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2585 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Seetharama pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

No.KA-B-599, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.
