• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 16/09/2008 at 1230 hrs near K.B. Circle at Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5676 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Active scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-5868. As a result one Sundara Bolara (65) R/o Marnamikatte Mangalore rider of Honda Active scooter sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 14/09/2008 at 1730 hrs at Neerole Badakodi village Belthangady Taluk one Jaya Poojary driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6901 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a rock. As a result Sharath (14) R/o Perady village Belthangady Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/09/2008 at 2200 hrs one Ramakrishna Achary (55) R/o Yenjara Rekhya village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by consuming some poison near his house owing to personal problem.

• A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Jayendra Bala R/o Palakad Kerala State who was working as a Commercial Clerk in Central Railway Station at Mangalore was found missing since 13/09/2008 at 1315 hrs.
