On 13/09/2008 at 1841 hrs accused two unknown persons came to Chemmannur Jewellery Showroom at Balmatta road Mangalore and pretended as a customer and committed theft of gold ornaments (148.57 grams) worth Rs. 1,78,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 18/09/2008 at 0900 hrs near Flower Market at Car Street Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7763 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sudhesh Bhat V. (55) R/o Car Street Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

• A case on Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 18/09/2007 at 1700 hrs on Maidan road at Mangalore one unknown driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3484 drove his vehicle in a negligent manner and dashed against Maxim Sebastian (31) R/o Surathkal Mangalore and Padmanabha the pedestrians and caused them grievous injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Urwa Police Station. On 18/09/2008 at 0800 hrs in front of Anugraha Bar & Restaurant at Mangalore one Brijesha passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9373 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained grievous injuries.

On 18/09/2008 at 0830 hrs on Sunkadakatte Polytechnic road at Paduperara village Mangalore Taluk one Ashoka rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-2153 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Dayananda (27) R/o Paduperara village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
