- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 27/09/2008 at 1730 hrs near Sri Manjunatheshwara Hospital at Bejai Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1469 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ME-7007 driven by one Shyam Prasad Shetty R/o Kalladka Bantwal Town. As a result the car got damaged. No casualties reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 27/09/2008 at 1200 hrs at Demmare Malluru Mangalore one Laxman driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-8469 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-05-EE-3295. As a result one Mohammed rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 26/09/2008 at 1700 hrs at Nellyady Pete Nellyady village Puttur Taluk one Laxme Gowda K.C. driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2311 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-938. As a result Laxme Gowda K.C. driver of KSRTC bus, conductor of said bus and 2 other passengers who were traveling in the said KSRTC bus sustained grievous injuries.

On 27/09/2008 at 0945 hrs at Karikkala cross Pambetthady village Sullia Taluk one Abdul Mirshad driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. MEK-8439 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-2698. As a result one Seetharama Hebbar (55) R/o Narimogaru village Puttur Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

They also assaulted Ravi Prashanth Holla and Surendra with iron rod and wooden stick who were came to help Gopala Salian and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 27/09/2008 at 1340 hrs on credible information DySP Excise and Lottery Detention Squade Western Range Mangalore along with staff conducted a raid on open place near Coastal Chicken Shop at Yeliyarpadavu Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk and seized illegal liquor (35 Lts) who was selling these liquor illegally there. However accused one Patrick D’ Souza (40) R/o Yeliyarpadavu Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk managed to escape from the scene.
- A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 27/09/2008 at 1700 hrs on credible information PSI Mangalore Rural PS along with staff arrested one Abdul Hameed (34) R/o Shivanagara Moodushedde village Mangalore and seized 260 grams of Ganja from his his possession. Police apprehended him while he was selling Ganja at Vamanjoor Thiruvail village Mangalore Taluk.
