• A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 09/09/2008 at 2100 hrs and 10/09/2008 at 0900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Falls Communication Mobile Shop at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk belonging to one Prasanna Kumar (30) R/o Ujire village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of 28 mobile phones and Mobile Currencys all in worth Rs. 80, 000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 10/09/2008 at 1800 hrs and 11/09/2008 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop at Kukkaje Manchi village Bantwal Taluk belonging to one Mohammad K (45) R/o Kukkaje Manchi village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of arecanut (1,300 Kgs ) all in worth Rs 1,10, 000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 10/09/2008 at 1945 hrs near Sapthagiri Petrol Pump at KPT Mangalore one Kishore driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5669 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Ambassador car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-1479. As a result Ambassador car driver one Denial D’ Souza (39) R/o Nanthoor Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 10/09/2008 at 1430 hrs at Nadupadavu Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Ansar driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7412 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-982. As a result motorcycle rider Everest D’Souza (38) R/o Manjeshwara Kasaragod District Kerala State and Jaganantha (47) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 10/09/2008 at 0835 hrs accused one Ibrahim abused one Nisar (23) R/o Shanthinagara Kavoor Mangalore in filthy language near Gokarnanatha Bank at Kuloor Mangalore and assaulted him with iron punch owing to previous enmity.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 09/09/2008 at 2230 hrs accused Abdul Khadar A. K, Mohammad Ashraf and Jafar criminally restrained one Abdul Khadar A. B (58) R/o Nettanige Mudnuru village Puttur Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute between Abdul Khadar A. B and the accused persons.

On 10/09/2008 at 1830 hrs accused one Nazeer Fakeer R/o Atthavar Mangalore abused one Santhosha P.K. constable of Traffic East PS in filthy language while he was on duty near Hampankatte Signal at Mangalore.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 10/09/2008 at 1400 hrs one Devappa (42) R/o Permude Thenkayekkaru village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into a well near his house while taking water form the well and died due drowning.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 10/09/2008 at 1915 hrs one Mohandas Shetty (52) R/o Malaibettu Sajipamunoor village Bantwal Taluk while walking near his house accidentally touched the electric wire due he got electrocuted. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 10/09/2008 at 0930 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 45 yrs was found near Gowri River at Kunjady Palthady village Puttur Taluk. The death seems to be due to drowning.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 10/09/2008 in between 0800 hrs and 1500 hrs one Elumba (58) R/o Kalpada colony Kodiyala village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by jumping in to the pond near his house and died due to drowning.
