- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 24/09/2008 at 1300 hrs at Kalisadhana Dongarakeri Mangalore one Muttu driver of Tata Sumo Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-6669 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Renuka (44) R/o Bokkapatna Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 25/09/2008 at 0845 hrs at Bendoor circle Mangalore one unknown driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9347 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Lawrence D Souza R/o Kudupu Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The driver of bus escaped from the place without his vehicle.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore South Police Station. On 24/09/2008 at 1645 hrs near Service Bus stand at Mangalore one Mujeeb Rehman (16) R/o Bajpe Mangalore passenger of the bus while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KL-14-D-7506 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which Pavithra (08) R/o Madnoor Puttur Taluk who was traveling in the said jeep got thrown out from jeep and sustained simple injuries.

Police apprehended him while he was selling near Beef stall at Central Market Mangalore.

- A case under 32, 34 Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 25/09/2008 at 2000 hrs on credible information ASI DCIB Mangalore along with staff conducted a raid on a shop at Baddadka Alatti village Sullia Taluk and seized 179 bottles of liquor worth Rs.7, 000/ by arresting one Dinesh Naik (35) R/o Baddadka Alatti village Sullia Taluk who was selling these liquor bottle illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 15/09/2008 at 0930 hrs one Madhuchandra (20) R/o Yeyyadi Mangalore attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house. Further he was admitted to A.J. Hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 24/09/2008 at 1715 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 24/09/2008 at 0800 hrs and 25/09/2008 at 0700 hrs one William Rodrigus (23) R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 24/09/2008 at 1300 and 25/09/2008 at 1400 hrs one Sundari (45) R/o Parappu Venoor Village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the Palguni River at Parappu Venoor Village Belthangady Taluk owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. In between 24/09/2008 and 25/09/2008 at 1100 hrs one Yadhava Gowda (23) R/o Mogru village Uppinangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging near house owing to health problem.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Vittal Police Station. One Devu Gowda (60) R/o Konkanakody Netla Mudnoor village Bantwal Taluk who was left his house on 14/09/2008 and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
